Snickerdoodles
A chewy buttery cookie rolled in sugar and cinnamon.
Ingredients
Cookies
- 2 3/4 cup flour
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
Sugar Cinnamon Mixture
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt in a medium sized bowl.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter and sugar. cream until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and combine. Mix in vanilla.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Scoop batter into 1" balls, approximately 12 balls per cookie sheet.
- Mix together sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Roll each cookie dough ball in the mixture.
- Bake at 400F for 6-8 minutes, until light golden brown. Enjoy!
