Ingredients
  

Meat Loaf
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
Topping Sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon mustard

Method
 

  1. Combine everything except the ground beef in a large bowl and allow to rest for 5-10 minutes until the bread crumbs have softened. Mix in the beef and pour into a 8x4 bread pan. In a small bowl, combine the topping ingredients and spread evenly over the meat loaf. Bake at 350 F for 1 - 1 1/4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 160 F.
