2 pounds ground beef
2 eggs, beaten
2/3 cup milk
2/3 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon parsley

Topping Sauce

1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon mustard

Method

Combine everything except the ground beef in a large bowl and allow to rest for 5-10 minutes until the bread crumbs have softened. Mix in the beef and pour into a 8×4 bread pan. In a small bowl, combine the topping ingredients and spread evenly over the meat loaf. Bake at 350 F for 1 – 1 1/4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 160 F.
